Quick & Easy Cards!

I loved creating these two cards!  I like to challenge myself and see what kind of cards I can put together with a limited amount of supplies.  These cards are super quick and easy and are great for that last minute running out the door card.  These can both be modified with different washi, different sentiments and different colors!  I hope you enjoy my first blog post. :)

The first card consists of only 3 supplies:
* Washi Tape
* Sequins
* Stamp & ink

I put together the card by first scoring several lines above and below the washi tape.  Next, I stamped the sentiment using Encore gold ink and then added a few gold sequins.  I think it would be great to create a set of cards as a gift or just to have on hand which incorporate different washi tape with different sentiments...the ideas are unlimited!


 

The next card strikes me as more of a masculine card.  The supplies I used:
* Bristol smooth cardstock panel
* Distress inks
* Twine
* Corduroy button
* Studio G stamp & Versafine black ink

Another quick & easy card! I used several distress inks blended together to create the background and then watered down some brown distress ink and splattered with my paintbrush.  Next, I stamped the sentiment and then took my button and ran the twine through it and then around the card.  I popped the panel up with some foam tape and that completed the card!
